This image is a close up of engraved writing into bench, even though this isnt on a building i found it interesting and different. This is because the writing goes back into the brick creates a shade and brings out the writing, this shade creates tone within the writing as well. The brick overtime  has become a little diminished and these marks are left behind this adds colour and texture.

This image is interesting as it takes the perspective and turns a twist on it as the writing is horizontal but the writing isn't vertical so isn't readable unless you turn your head. What is also interesting about this piece id the contrast in the sky and building, which brings out the writing. The writing is center of attention with the blue an opposite to the black background on the sign.

This close up image of a sign is another very interesting image. The writing is italic and very fancy, there is also a reflection shown in the background this creates a different dimension to the image and you can see the building in the reflection. The reflection also creates an unusual texture, like a rough bumpy texture above the writing.
